Win with Georgia

I was born into Labour politics. My mother, Julia Langdon, was political editor of the Daily Mirror – the first ever woman to hold this position on a national newspaper in the UK. As she was preparing to cover the 1987 election she prematurely gave birth to me!

Politics was a central part of my upbringing; but Labour is the family I grew up in and whose values I espouse. I passionately believe that society must be built on equality and fairness. Those who have privilege and power should focus their energies on those who need it most.

Campaign Professional

I run my own small business, a communications and public affairs agency and so have extensive experience working in Parliament lobbying government at the highest levels for those I represent.

Running a small company is a huge responsibility, requiring discipline, accountability dedication, passion, compassion, creativity and quick thinking. An accomplished figurehead, I am experienced in instilling values and ethos in all that we do and ensuring that my team are motivated and work together to deliver the best service possible.

People put their trust in me and I get the job done.

Our Mission

An elected expert on your side

As an elected Councillor next door in Bracknell Forest, I see first-hand the clear similarities between these neighbouring areas. Winning what was considered to be an “unwinnable” ward in the local elections last May helped Labour to take majority control of our Borough; I can offer my experience and insight to Rushmoor Borough Council in the run up to its next election and beyond.

I can take the fight to the Tories and win Aldershot. It will be my mission to take and hold this seat for Labour for good.

Armed Forces Champion and Defence Expert

I am proud to be Bracknell Forest’s Armed Forces champion; it is a great honour to advocate for our nation’s heroes based in the Borough. I will fight for all the brave servicemen and women and veterans across the constituency to ensure they have a level of housing, support and recognition that properly reflects their contribution to our country.

Our Mission

Action for Aldershot

My priorities for Aldershot

  • People deserve to live happily and well. I will push for ways to bring energy prices down and for housing reform so that people can afford to live.

  • We should all be on the side of all public sector workers, who deserve our upmost support. I am committed to repairing our public services, helping people to have equal access to good quality healthcare, social care and mental health services.

  • I am a champion for small businesses and know the value they bring to the UK economy as well as to individual towns and high streets. I will strive to meet a range of different companies through each week of the campaign to hear their concerns, challenges and get an understanding of where Aldershot’s Labour MP can give them a boost.

  • I will prioritise bringing the high streets back to life, by supporting small businesses in the area and ensuring ASOB and petty crime is tackled effectively. This should be a place where companies want to be located.

  • I will demand affordable childcare and better provision for our early years and youth communities.

  • I will fight for all the brave servicemen and women and veterans across the constituency to ensure they have a level of housing, support and recognition that properly reflects their contribution to our country
