Georgia is an outstanding candidate, with exactly the right mix of skills and attitude to equip her for the role of MP. As our Labour Group Whip in Bracknell Forest, she performs an invaluable role, ensuring that our members are informed, united and disciplined. She is hard-working, diligent and collegiate. Georgia was elected in May 2023 to the Bracknell Forest Council. She joined 21 others and Labour now control this Council for the first time in 25 years. Georgia has proved a very capable Councillor and is Chair of our Overview and Scrutiny Commission. She is a very capable and effective politician; able to relate to issues with empathy and understanding. She is a good listener and is the Labour Group Whip, helping us all to keep together as a team, focused on achieving our ambitions.
